Almond Flour Indian Sweets – Rich and decadent Indian sweets made with Almond Flour.

No fuss, quick and easy Indian sweets which can be made for Diwali, Holi or any occasion.

Almonds are widely used in Indian Desserts. The nutty taste and the richness that the almonds provide, goes so well in the desserts.

I use Almond Flour from Costco and the brand is Kirkland. You can use any good quality store bought or home made almond flour.

What is Almond Flour?

Almond Flour is finely ground almond made using blanched almond with out skin. They have a nutty flavor and pairs well with baked goods like cakes, cookies, breads, pie crust and of course macaroons.

Do not confuse almond flour to almond meal. Almond meal is more coarse in texture and sometimes contain the skin.

Almond Flour has become one of my favorite ingredients to use in the kitchen. It is gluten free and makes for a great substitute for All Purpose Flour (maida) in many recipes.
