1- Pre heat the oven to 375 F . Line two large baking pans with parchment paper.

7- In a bowl add some sugar to coat the cookies. Scope the dough into one inch bowl and roll them into sugar ( I skipped coating the cookies with sugar).
8- Place the balls on the baking sheet and gently press them with the bottom of a glass cup.
9- Bake the cookies in the middle rack of the oven for 9-11 minutes, until they just start to get a hint of color.

Tips to make the Best Sugar Cookies-
- Use softened butter, not the melted butter in the recipe. Softened butter combined with sugar will make it creamy and make the cookies moist.
- Make sure the baking powder is not too old.
- Do not over mix the cookie dough. After you add the flour, just mix them untill well combined.
- Do not over bake the cookies, if not you will end up with a hard cookie when they cool.
- Remove the cookies from the baking tray not more than 4 -5 minutes after they come out of the oven.
- Line a parchment paper to avoid the cookies form sticking or getting brown in the bottom.
How do you know when the sugar cookie is done?
When you see that the cookies just start to get a hint of color, that is the perfect time to remove them from the oven.
How do you fix crumbly sugar cookie dough?
If your cookie dough is crumbly, add ½ teaspoon of liquid ( it can be either egg, water or milk). Start with just half teaspoon and add more if needed. Do not over mix the dough.
How do I make sure my cookies are soft?
Store the cookies in a air tight container. You can also add a piece of bread in the cookie jar, the bread will turn hard and keep the cookies soft.
Can I freeze the cookie dough?
Roll the cookie dough into balls and place them in a freezer ziploc bag or in air tight container in one layer. To bake, place the frozen dough balls on aparchment paper and bake for 13-15 minutes.
