gulab jamun ice cream

gulab jamun ice cream

Gulab Jamun Ice Cream recipe– generally jamun’s are served with ice cream. So I thought rather than serving a scoop of ice cream on the side, why not combine them both. It reminded me of my Rasgulla Ice cream  recipe which is very similar in procedure.

I combined the gulab jamun with ice cream and garnished with slivered almonds and grated chocolate. It turned out pretty good. If you are looking for a different way to serve your Jamun’s please do try this.

Gulab Jamun Ice Cream Recipe:

(Serves two)

Ingredients:

  1. Gulab Jamun- 5
  2. Vanilla Ice cream – 2 to 3 scoops
  3. Slivered almonds for garnish
  4. Grated chocolate for garnish
 Procedure:
  • Lightly squeeze out the syrup from the jamun. Crumble the jamun.
  • Take two scoops of vanilla ice cream and slowly fold it in the crumbled jamun.
  • Keep it in the freezer for few minutes till it sets.
  • Garnish with silvered almonds and grated chocolate right before serving.

Note:

If you don’t squeeze out the syrup from the jamun, the gulab jamun ice cream will be pretty sweet and mushy.
