According to wiki, Snacking doesn’t have a concrete meaning. Which is totally true, Snack can be a fruit, cracker, fried item , cookies, chips with dip, cupcake with some cold milk,… the list goes on….
Depending on ones mood and hunger we end up choosing snacks. Sometimes they are healthy and sometimes not. Healthy snacks are the ones which till the brain i am done and I don’t need anymore food. On the other hand if you eat unhealthy food it only satisfies your carving for that few minutes and very soon you are bound to get hungry.
Today i would like to share a simple snacking idea. No cooking involved!
- Milk – Gives you Vitamin D, Calcium, Strong teeth and bones and it contains all the nutrients for the body to function properly.
- Multi grain crackers– Cholesterol free, Low in sodium and 0 grams of trans fat.
- Raspberry – Good source of vitamin C.
1 cup of low fat milk.
About 10 multi grain crackers and
1/2 cup of Raspberry.
