WHAT IS CHAAT?

Chaat or Chat ( means to lick) is a savory snack from India. They are typically served in road side stalls and have complex flavors which give you sweet, tangy, salty and spicy taste in every bite.

Indian cuisine is famous for its Chaats and there many variations to how chaat can be served. They can be made with fresh or cooked veggies, puffed rice, puri or bhel mix.

Easy 5 minute Samosa Chaat made with air fried frozen Samosa.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 4 samosa
  • chopped onion, tomato and coriander leaves
  • green chutney as needed
  • tamarind date chutney as needed
  • ½ cup thick yogurt mixed with salt, chaat masala and cumin powder
  • sev as needed
  • pomegranate
  • lemon juice as needed

Instructions

  • Air fry the frozen samosa according to package instructions.
  • Slightly smash two of the samosa in a plate. Add some green chutney, tamarind chutney. a generous drizzle of yogurt, chopped onion, tomato, coriander leaves, more chutneys, yogurt, sev, and pomegranate. Top it with some chaat masala and a squeeze of lemon juice.
