Collection of Navratri Sweets recipes – Navratri also spelled as Navaratri, is a Hindu festival celebrated during autumn every year. Goddess Durga is worshiped in nine forms during the nine nights (and ten days) of navratri. Each day of navratri is dedicated to different avatars of the goddess Durga. On the 10th day, Dussehra/Dasara is celebrated symbolizing the victory of good over evil.
Worshiping the goddess, playing dandiya, visiting family and friends to see golu (dolls display), wearing a specific color of attire each day, enjoying the festive food are some of the many celebrations during navratri.
