Pan fried potato fries, is a healthy take on french fries. Sliced potatoes are pan fried with some salt and spices. Makes for a tasty evening snack for kids and adults.
Medium sized potatoes – 3 ( peeled, sliced to long wedges)
1/2 tsp red chilly powder ( I used Kashmiri chilly powder, which is mild)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
Take a non stick pan, add the oil, when the oil gets hot add the sliced potato Turn the heat to medium and cook till the potato is soft inside and crunchy outside. Its takes good fifteen minutes for the potato to cook. Now add salt, red chilly powder, garlic powder and fry for two to three minutes. Check for the seasoning and adjust accordingly.
Serve immediately with some tomato ketchup!
