Come fall in love with these vibrant and healthy smoothies, that keep you full and provide the essential nutrients to nourish your body. Most of the recipes have fresh fruits, nuts, and greens. The sweetness comes naturally from the fruit or you will see me use honey or dates for sweetness.
I have also shared a few lassi recipes. Lassi is a popular drink from India, made with yogurt. I have shared both sweet and savory lassi’s.

Most of the recipes are serving for one person.
Spinach Smoothie
Spinach Smoothie Ingredients
1 cup spinach
1 small green apple
10 frozen green grapes
3-4 soft dates
½ cup water
few ice cubes
Procedure
Add all the ingredients in the blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Salted Kale Cucumber Lassi
Ingredients
1 small cucumber finely chopped
one big handful of kale leaves
1 cup plain yogurt
½ cup water
cumin powder- two pinches
salt to taste
few ice cubes
Procedure
Add all the ingredients in the blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately. The lassi is slightly bitter, but packed with nutrients.
Mint Cucumber Cooler
Ingredients
1 small cucumber, cut to small pieces
1 cup coconut water
few mint leaves
honey or maple syrup to taste ( optional)
few ice cubes
Procedure
Add all the ingredients in the blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Peach Lassi/Peach Smoothie
Ingredients
1 peach, cut to chunks
¾ cup plain yogurt
10 almonds
soft dates- about 3
few ice cubes
¼ cup water
Procedure
Add all the ingredients in the blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Cucumber Mint Chia Drink
Ingredients
10 frozen grapes
½ cup chopped cucumber
few mint leaves
Soaked chia seeds – 1 tbsp
few ice cubes
¼ cup water
Procedure
Except for chia seeds, blend all the ingredients until smooth.
In a glass add ½ tbsp of the soaked chia seeds and pour the drink. Top it with rest of the chia and serve immediately.
Peach Kale Green Smoothie
Ingredients
1 cup chopped kale leaves, stems removed
1 small peach, cut to chunks
1 clementine
about 10 frozen or regular grapes
1 tbsp chia seeds
½ cup water
few ice cubes
Procedure
Add all the ingredients in the blender and about ¼ cup of water. Blend until smooth. Add little more water if needed to blend completely. Enjoy immediately.
Pineapple Greek Yogurt Smoothie
Ingredients
2 cups Pineapple
1 cup Greek yogurt
crushed ice
dates or honey for sweetness (optional)
Procedure
In a blender add the crushed ice, pineapple, Greek yogurt and the sweetener (if using). Blend until the ice is completely crushed and the texture is smooth.
Mango smoothie ( no extra sweetener added)
Ingredients:
Mango pieces – 1 cup
plain yogurt 1 cup
almonds – 8
few ice cubes
Procedure:
In a blender add the yogurt, almonds, mango pieces, and ice cubes. Blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add some milk or water to thin it out. Blend again and enjoy!
Green smoothie with Apple and Orange
Ingredients:
2 handfuls of fresh spinach
frozen green grapes – 10 ( wash the grapes and freeze for 20 minutes)
few apple slices
one small orange
chia seeds – 1 teaspoon
almonds – 8
water ½ cup
Procedure:
In a blender add all the ingredients and Blend until smooth and frothy. Enjoy!
Collard Greens Smoothie
Ingredients:
collard greens – 2 handfuls
orange – 1
frozen grapes – 10
few almonds
Few ice cubes
Procedure:
Blend all the ingredients until smooth and frothy. Serve immediately.
Avocado Savory Lassi
Ingredients:
Half Avocado
½ cup plain yogurt
cumin powder – ¼ tsp
black pepper powder – ⅛ tsp
cold water – ½ cup
Procedure:
Blend all the ingredients in a mixer until smooth. Serve immediately.
Mango Apple Lassi
Ingredients:
Mango – ½ cup
Apple – ½ cup
Plain yogurt – 1 cup
Almonds or Pistachio – about 8
Chia seeds – 1 teaspoon (optional)
Procedure:
Blend all the ingredients until smooth and serve.
Mango,hemp & chia seeds Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 Mango – cubed
Plain yogurt – 1 cup
Hemp seeds – 1 tbsp
Chia seeds – 1 tbsp
Pitted soft dates – about 4
Cold water – ¼ cup
Few crushed ice pieces
Procedure:
Blend all the ingredients until smooth and serve.
Blueberry Smoothie/Blueberry Lassi
Ingredients:
Frozen blueberry- 1 cup
Plain yogurt- ½ cup
cold milk – 1 cup
honey – 1 to 2 tsp
Procedure:
Add all the ingredients and blend until smooth.
Green smoothie with coconut water :
(Serves 2)
Ingredients:
Chilled Coconut water – 1 cup
Kale- two big handfuls
Frozen grapes- about 8 to 10( wash the grapes and freeze for 20 minutes)
Water-½ cup
Procedure:
In a blender first, add the coconut water followed by rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth and frothy. Enjoy!
Cantaloupe Smoothie with coconut water & ginger:
(Serves 2)
Ingredients:
Chopped sweet cantaloupe- 2 cups
Chilled Coconut water- 1 cup
Ginger- ¼th inch piece
Few mint leaves
Honey to taste (optional)
Procedure:
In a blender add the coconut water, followed by cantaloupe, ginger, and mint.
Add some honey, if the cantaloupe is not very sweet.
Blend until smooth. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
Masala Butter milk | Masala Lassi
(Serves 3 to 4)
Ingredients:
Plain curd/yogurt- 1 cup
Water- 2 ½ cups
Small green chilly-1 slit
Few ginger pieces
Few curry leaves and coriander leaves (just torn them)
Salt to taste
lemon juice to taste
Procedure:
Put all the ingredients in a large bowl.
Whisk for good two minutes. Strain and serve.
Indian Summer Drink | Panakam
Grated Jaggery – 3 tbsps or to taste
Water – 1 cup
A Generous squeeze of fresh lemon juice
A pinch of dry ginger powder
A pinch of Cardamom
Procedure:
Add the grated Jaggery in the water. Mix till completely dissolved. Filter the mixture using a strainer.
Now add the lemon juice, dry ginger powder, and cardamom. Mix well and serve as is or chilled.
Orange and Grape Smoothie
Ingredients:
Frozen grapes – 15
Oranges – 2
Ice cubes- ¼ cup
Procedure:
Wash the grapes and place them in the freezer for an hour. After an hour add the frozen grapes, oranges wedges and ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve
Ever green Smoothie
Ingredients:
green apple – ½ cup
frozen grapes-15
almonds- 8
chia seeds- 2 teaspoons
spinach – 2 cups, packed
water- ½ cup
few ice cubes
Procedure:
In a blender first add the almond, then add the apple, grapes, chia seeds, water, spinach, and ice cubes. Blend until smooth.
Coconut water with chia seeds
Ingredients
chilled coconut water- 2 cups
heaping table-spoon of chia seeds
Procedure
Add chia seeds to the coconut water and mix. Let the chia soak in the coconut water for fifteen minutes. Chia seeds will plump up.
Stir and serve the drink.
