Chats are extremely popular as a evening snack in Indian sub continent. some of the popular chats are bhel puri, samosa chat, aloo chat, papri chat, ragda patties, sev puri and many more. Sprouted green moong dal chat is a healthy take on these chat recipes. The sprouted green moong dal are tossed with fresh onion, tomato, carrot, coriander leaves and sweet and spicy chutneys. Making the Green Moong Dal Sprouts-

To make the moong beans sprouts, wash the beans and soak over night. Next day drain all the water, transfer the dal to a container and close with a lid. Keep the dal in a dark place. after a day open the lid and if the dal looks dry, sprinkle some water and place it back for the dal to sprout. In a day you should have the sprouts. If you prefer long sprouts, leave it for another half day.
