Originally from France, Parfait is a dessert made by layering Parfait cream, fresh fruit and granola in a tall clear glass. In United States its often eaten for breakfast.
I am using low fat Ricotta for this recipe. The recipe can be easily adaptable to any fruit or cereal of your choice.
Ricotta Strawberry Parfait
Tasty Parfait made with ricotta cheese, strawberry and granola.

Ingredients
- ¾ cup ricotta cheese (I used low fat ricotta)
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 4 tablespoons granola
- 10 strawberries, sliced
- ¼ teaspoons vanilla extract
- slivered almonds, garnish
Instructions
- Whisk Ricotta with Sugar and Vanilla extract. In clear tall glass layer ricotta mixture, followed by Granola and Strawberry.
- Repeat the layer and top it off with slivered almonds. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
