Though not a public holiday, over the years valentines day had become one of the most popular celebrations. A day dedicated for Celebration of love- love for your spouse, love for your parents, love for your kids, love for your friends and family.
Our Valentines day dinners are usually a quite cozy dinner at home with our kids. If you are also planning to celebrate the valentine’s day at home, here are few tips on making this special day stress free.
Making a Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be stressful. The key in making the menu stress free is,planning it in advance. Shop the ingredients couple of days in advance. Clean, prep and cook few things the day before and finish the rest on that evening.

Prep the veggies the day before, grate the cheese. Use the canned black beans, just drain the liquid and rinse before using.
Pressure cooker Veggie Pasta – is a quick, easy and delicious one pot meal. Fresh pureed tomatoes , veggies and spices are cooked with dry pasta in a pressure cooker
Mediterranean orzo salad – This mediterranean orzo salad is a delicious dish bursting with mediterranean flavors. Chick peas, olives, artichoke hearts ,feta cheese, orzo pasta and many more colorful ingredients are tossed with a home made lemony jalapeno dressing. It is one of the best salad recipes I have ever tasted. Its a complete meal by itself, but can also be served as a side dish.

But if you are planning to make the orzo salad same day – make the dressing, prep all the veggies a day before. On the day, cook the pasta first thing when you get home in the evening. cool completely and toss all the ingredients.
