Add 3 cups of pomegranate ( about 2 large pomegranates) to a blender. Pulse it few times to break them apart and release the juice. Do not make puree, we just need to pulse until the outer layer of the seeds are broken.
Use a metal strainer to strain the seeds out. You can also use a muslin cloth to strain the juice.
While you can enjoy the pomegranate juice as is, I feel it is slightly thick to my liking. So we add a cup of water ( or seltzer water) and a pinch of black salt (kala namak) and enjoy this refreshing sweet and tart juice.
Notes
If black salt is not available, you can use regular salt.
