Easy Sesame Seeds Ladoo (with out jaggery syrup) | Nuvvula Laddu
Sesame Seeds Ladoo or Til ke Laddu made with out jaggery syrup.
Servings: 11 ladoo
- 1 ½ cup white sesame seeds ( 200 gms)
- ¾ cup jaggery powder
In a pan add the sesame seeds and dry roast them in medium flame till pale brown. Stir often to avoid burning. When the sesame is roasted you will also observe the nutty aroma from the sesame. Turn of the stove.
Let it cool for 5-7 minutes. Transfer the roasted sesame to a blender and coarsely grind it.
Add the grated jaggery to the ground sesame seeds and pulse it few times till the mixture comes together and you can make a ball.
Make round balls. You can also coat them with roasted sesame seeds.
Roast the sesame in low-medium flame, to avoid burning.
Do not over grind the mixture, if not the sesame will release lot of oil.
You can also add a tea spoon of ghee and fresh cardamom to enhance the taste.
