What is milk cake?

Traditionally milk cake is made by cooking milk till it reduces by one third in volume. Then lemon juice is added which makes the milk curdle and get the grainy texture. Finally sugar is added and cooked till the mixture thickens.

Very tasty sweet, but requires hands on monitoring and stirring.

By using Ricotta Cheese, we can make this milk cake in just few minutes. The taste is very similar to the traditional method. With barely any effort this recipe is a keeper.
