Step by step pictures on how to make rava laddu with milk maid–
Heat a table spoon of ghee and add the cashew. Fry it light brown.
Then add the raisins and fry till they plump up. Remove and set a side.
Add the remaining ghee and the rava. Mix well and roast the rava.
Roast the rava in low – medium flame. Its important to roast the rava in low frame to get the best tasting rava laddu. Roast for atleast 8 to 10 minutes. The rava will become crumbly, the color changes slightly and you have a nice fragrant smell.
Add the desiccated coconut to the roasted rava.
Then add the fried cashew, raisins and the crushed cardamom powder.
Next, add the sweetened condensed milk and a table spoon of regular milk.
Mix all the ingredients well and turn off the heat.
Turn off the heat. Make the laddu when the mixture is still warm.
Store the laddu in a air tight container. Stays fresh for up to four days.
