Refreshing Celery Smoothie to kick start your morning.

The addition of green apple, cucumber, ginger and lemon makes it so tasty and you feel so good after drinking it.

Ingredients:

Ingredient notes:

Celery – pick fresh and bright looking celery

Cucumber – I used English cucumber, but any cucumber will work.

Step by Step Instructions:

To a blender add few ice cubes, celery pieces, cucumber, green apple, ginger, lemon and salt. Now and half cup of water.

Blend all the ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately!

Pro Tips:

Do not skip ginger and lemon. They add so much flavor to the smoothie

Add a pinch of salt to balance out the flavors.

FAQ’s-

Can I add any sweetener?

You can add few dates, if you like it sweeter.

What else can I add to this smoothie?

Mint will go well in this smoothie.

What other fruits or vegetables can I add?

Banana, Spinach and orange can be added. If adding banana, skip the cucumber.

Can I strain the smoothie?

Yes, you can strain it and enjoy it as juice. But remember all the fiber will be removed.

Ingredients

  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 small green apple
  • ½ cup chopped cucumber
  • ½ inch ginger, peeled
  • 1-2 tsp lemon juice
  • pinch of salt
  • ¾ cup cold water
  • 5 ice cubes

Instructions

  • To a blender add few ice cubes, celery pieces, cucumber, green apple, ginger, lemon and salt. Now and half cup of water.
  • Blend all the ingredients until smooth.
  • Serve immediately!

Notes

Blend all the ingredients until smooth. If the ingredients are not blending well, add little more water.
I prefer drinking it as smoothie over juice, because with smoothie we also consume the fiber.
