What is Ricotta Cheese?

Ricotta Cheese is a Italian whey cheese made from cow, sheep, goat or buffalo. kind we get in most US groceries is made of cow. Mild in taste, this soft, protein rice, white cheese is a favorite ingredient used in Italian cooking.

I am sharing few Indian sweets made with ricotta cheese like – kalakand, peda, burfi and rabri. Not only the process is easy, but the sweets are moist and delicious.
