6: Black Bean Burger with sauteed onion & bell pepper

I used a frozen Black Bean Burger ( Morning Star), you can microwave the burger for 1min 45 sec or heat it up on a pan in low flame. Saute some onion and bell pepper with apinch of salt. Toast the bun, place some lettuce or baby spinach, place the burger, add mayonnaise and maggi sweet and chili sauce, sauteed onion, bell pepper, pickled jalapeno (optional) and top with more lettuce and cover with the bun.

Don’t skip the lettuce, it helps the bun in not getting soggy.

You can serve them with homemade or store bought chapathi. While I prefer making chapathi at home, I always keep a pack of store bought chapathi which can be used on busy days.
